I saw the movie when it made it's way to Netflix. At first I was really excited to find a documentary about bisexuality, since it tends to be frequently overlooked. However I have to say I was pretty dissapointed, the message I got from it was that bisexuals were more interested in hook-ups than connecting with someone they love regardless of gender.

I agree with KazekageGaara650. As someone who has has fallen in love and been in long-term relationships (monogamous and over 5 years in length) with both men and women - where sexual arousal, romantic love, and attachment are all part of the relationship - I feel very under-represented in this film. For me, a positive response from the person I love and respect is what makes me happy, regardless of their gender. I realize that there are all sorts of people out there and all sorts of relationships. There may be some sort of heterosexual-bisexual-homosexual spectrum, and there may be people who fall between the categories. And maybe, as this film suggests, "bisexual" has become an umbrella term to encompass anything between the two ends of the spectrum. However, there are those of us who fall right in the middle, who really can love a person in all ways, regardless of gender. We are not experimenting, we are not undecided, we are not confused or in denial. I am thankful for at least one comment in the documentary from someone like me saying that we do exist, and not because someone did a study to prove it, but because we are here, living and breathing, and having equally healthy and happy relationships with men and women! Are we really such a minority?
